About Us

Home Remodeling Contractors

You’re going to find out a little bit more about the two home remodeling contractors behind this remodel construction company ~ Addition Doctors. This is a family operated business currently owned by John Stidolph. Nate Stidolph the oldest son is a big part of the business as well. We feel an accredited family operation like this one is an advantage for our customers. With the bulk of our customers being family’s of some dimension themselves it helps us to understand your expansion needs better.

You are dealing with home remodeling contractors that pays close attention to every part of a job they do. We like to treat each job like it is our own home that we’re working on. One of them lives outside of Madrid and the other one lives north of Woodward and fortunately there isn’t an area of Boone County that we wouldn’t want to work in. That’s always a good thing because it makes it easy to take on a job in any part of our work area with a lot of trust in the customers we’re working for.

  • One of them has been in this business for…well I can’t remember, but I think 25 or 30 years.
  • Aside from construction, the other job is creek landscaping – a relaxer!
  • The amount of random sports knowledge one of them has would scare you.
  • To this day, I still chew at least 1 tooth pick a day to keep the doctor away – who said that?
  • One of them has a sweet tooth for chocolate similar to a dog’s liking for a steak.
  • Their love for ribs will never allow them to become vegetarians
  • They are the best home remodeling contractors around!

Finding the perfect and highly qualified home remodelers to get the job done can be a daunting task for many. There are many contractors to choose from that you might not only get confused, but might end up choosing the wrong one. So how do you go about determining the right one?

The first thing to do is to pay attention to their areas of expertise. Despite the similarity in jobs handled by construction and remodeling companies, specialties in jobs differ. It is imperative you find someone whose has the specialty that matches your remodeling project.

The second thing you should have a look at is their practical experience. There are a number of inexperienced remodelers who would want to turn your house into a “laboratory” for experimenting their skills. Take a look at some of their previous completed projects in person to see the results of their work.

Third, consider the terms of agreement. If the contractor asks for full payment before the completion of the task, take a walk. Home remodeling projects are very complex and you wouldn’t want to get webbed in a series of legal disputes. It is important that you make a flexible arrangement suiting the interests of both parties.

Last, check the cost of the project. Obtain multiple quotes and make sure the estimates are in writing. Take a more practical and well-informed decision that achieves a balance between quality and cost. The bottom-line is to have that job done perfectly so take your time to get the best.
